Still waiting in line to pay with cash? Use your Chicago Card to save up to 12.5% on fares, and quicker boarding by using the Go Lane. You can reload your Chicago Card at any rail station or at Touch-n-Go locations, and it is good on any CTA train or bus and any Pace bus. The Chicago Card is fast, convenient, and beats cash every time. Until further notice by the CTA, effective January 1, 2008, the $5 purchase fee for Chicago Card is waived for first-time users who register their cards.
